Los Angeles, 04-29-2007

It’s 11:30 PM and our plane is 30 minutes late. Lanaea and I had a mysteriously uncommon lack of traffic to LAX, a relatively short checkin line, and almost no security wait. Considering we’d given ourselves the recommended 2 – 2.5 hours before departure, we’re in the middle of a bit of the airport doldrums. (Although nothing like I’ve experienced before – absolutely is pure bliss compared to arriving in Heathrow, and my bags in Paris). She’s fallen asleep on my arm for an hour, while I write, play sentry, and cycle through my Earth Element meditation.
